Norwegian government networks affected by DDoS attack: incident analysis

It has been revealed that 12 Norwegian government websites have been subjected to a distributed denial of service (DDoS) cyber attack. DDoS attack, as known, is one of the most common methods used to disrupt or significantly slow down a server, service or network by flooding it with excess network traffic.
