Zilla Security launches SaaS innovations for corporate identity security
With Zilla Secure and SOD, the company aims to revolutionize the security management of cloud and SaaS applications, making it easier to identify and fix improper access configurations
Zilla Security has unveiled two new software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, Zilla Secure and Segregation of Duties (SOD). These innovations aim to improve enterprise-level identity security for cloud-based applications and infrastructure, SaaS and legacy applications.
The need for new security tools in an increasingly connected world
Deepak Taneja, CEO of Zilla Security, highlighted the urgent need for such tools in a world facing a harsh reality regarding cloud security. The rapid adoption of the cloud, the decentralized management of SaaS applications, and the entitlement complexity of cloud infrastructures have led to a flood of misconfigurations regarding access permissions and settings. Faced with an ever-changing and growing attack surface, organizations need intelligently automated tools.
Features of the latest Zilla Security solutions
New Zilla solutions include the ability to detect permission conflicts for regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and improve DevOps security through SOD. Additionally, Zilla Secure gives security teams the ability to identify and resolve inappropriate identity and access configurations. This includes policy-based automation to detect and remediate inappropriate permissions and settings and all unauthorized changes, custom policies that enable security teams to enforce organization-specific security controls with automated remediation, or custom security workflows , and automated reviews of user access for regular review.
Zilla Security: a strategic choice for fast-growing companies
Chetan Adiverekar, Vice President of Engineering at Biofourmis, praised Zilla Security for its ability to provide a common control center that enables visibility across technologies and integrates seamlessly with his company's applications and services. Zilla Security's announcement comes during a period of significant growth for the company. After raising $13.5 million in Serie A funding in the summer of 2022, Zilla has more than doubled its staff, opened its headquarters in Boston and now serves more than 80 corporate clients.
